Choose how to split: click the scissors between any two pages, split every few pages, type page ranges like 1-3, 4-8, save each page as its own file, or extract only the pages you selected. The tool shows the resulting files before you save, and you can download them one at a time or together as a ZIP.
How to do it
- Add the PDF you want to split.
- In the Split tab, pick a method: cut marks, every N pages, page ranges, one file per page or selected pages.
- Save each part, or click Save all as ZIP.
Why your files stay private
Use it for documents you would rather not hand to a stranger: contracts, HR files, bank statements and tax forms.
Most free PDF sites send your document to their server and send a result back. This one does not. The page reads your file directly from your device, does the work in your browser with the open source libraries pdf.js and pdf-lib, and saves the result to your downloads. Nothing is uploaded, so there is nothing to store. You can test it yourself: load the page, turn off your Wi-Fi, and every tool still works.
Questions
How do I extract pages from a PDF?
Select the pages on the mat, choose Extract selected pages in the Split tab, then save. The selected pages become a new PDF.
How do I split a PDF into single pages?
Choose One file per page and click Save all as ZIP. You get one PDF for every page.
Is the original file changed?
No. The tool only reads your file. The split parts are new files saved to your device.
Is splitting private?
Yes. The file is split by your browser and never uploaded.
Is it safe for contracts, HR files and financial documents?
Your files never leave your device, so nothing is stored on a server or seen by anyone else. That makes it a good fit for contracts, HR files, bank statements and tax forms. For extra peace of mind, turn off your Wi-Fi once the page has loaded.
Do I need to install anything? Does it work offline?
There is nothing to install and no account to create. Open the page in any recent browser. Once it has loaded, every tool keeps working without an internet connection.
