Big Crow & Nun-da-ga-o Ridge Loop @ NY 🍄
What started as a hike turned into an unexpected mushroom-spotting adventure, and I captured some of those cute little ones along the way.
Unexpectedly, the trail was full of mushrooms…big ones, tiny ones, colorful ones, and some wonderfully strange ones!
I’d never seen so many honey mushrooms in one place. According to some mushroom-savvy friends, they’re quite tasty, although I’ve seen some little worm friends happily hanging out there too. 😄
I ended up filming quite a few along the way, so I put together a short video.

I also love the name Nun-da-ga-o. It’s often said to mean “hill of the wind spirits”, such a beautiful name for a ridge where you can really feel the wind. 🌬️🍂
